Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and profit performance using key tools and resources to drive selling
- Support execution of company and store initiatives and maintain store standards
- Participate in and support team training to achieve business results
- Engage clients through creative outreach and broaden customer accessibility to product discovery
- Support alternative purchasing processes including Gladly, Click to Zoom, JRNI, and Ship to Home
- Provide ongoing feedback to management on successes, opportunities, and category needs
- Uphold company policies and champion core values
- Maintain exceptional productivity through effective store execution
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a complex high-volume specialty environment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register, stand, move, walk for multiple hours and maneuver around sales floor
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate climbing as needed
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and possible overnight shifts or travel
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and co-workers
- Planning and prioritization and time management skills
