Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Manager at Holt Renfrew, you will lead a team of sales associates to enhance the customer experience and achieve sales targets while providing an engaging employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets across multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Meet customer service objectives and address customer concerns.
  • Recruit, select, hire, and onboard top talent.
  • Lead, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with other store managers to drive sales and customer service.
  • Communicate performance standards and objectives to employees and provide coaching.
  • Promote a culture of open communication, employee development, and trust.
  • Maintain health and safety practices in accordance with the code of conduct.
  • Oversee the designated sales advisor/expert advisor program for assigned departments.
  • Recognize and reward exceptional performance; provide feedback and develop improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Lead the team in developing, updating, and growing an active client base.
  • Implement customer relationship management and loyalty programs.
  • Act as the manager on duty as needed.
  • Set high standards for merchandise presentation at all times.
  • Regularly evaluate stock performance and create improvement strategies.
  • Participate in the development and influence seasonal store plans.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business activities.
  • Manage payroll budgets while ensuring appropriate coverage levels to meet business needs.
  • Maintain operational awareness of in-store concessions to ensure consistent customer service.
  • Comply with health and safety policies and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy protection, regulations, and cybersecurity measures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience with a focus on driving sales.
  • Proven experience in exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Ability to quickly adapt/initiate changes.
  • Retail sales experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
