Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the team through coaching and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and feedback through one-on-ones to develop sales associates.
- Support and promote new business initiatives and training tools.
- Maintain customer service and visual presentation standards on the sales floor.
- Build and develop clientele through social engagement and relationship skills.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges in manager absence.
- Participate in merchandising tasks including stock maintenance, transfers, folding and floor changeovers.
- Utilize selling tools and product knowledge to meet and exceed personal sales goals.
- Manage task tracking and communication with management and associates.
- Mentor and coach the sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
Requirements
- Relevant retail experience preferred with demonstrated sales ability.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate staff and support team development.
- Analytical and financial acumen and strong computer skills preferred.
- Ability to operate register and stand, walk and move for multiple hours.
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, lift up to 30 lbs and use ladder as trained.
