Summary
Lead the sales floor to deliver a memorable customer shopping experience and build client relationships while supporting store leadership and driving sales. Partner with store management to develop leadership skills and positively influence the sales team to meet performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support opening and closing procedures and complete returns and exchanges when managers are absent.
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards through daily stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Use product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Participate in task tracking and communicate updates to management and associates.
- Promote new business initiatives and ensure positive reception from the sales team.
- Deliver value added services and uphold customer service and training standards.
- Model professional etiquette and uphold the brand aesthetic in all merchandising activities.
- Give and receive feedback through one-on-ones and coaching to support team development.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in high volume luxury business.
- Strong business acumen and product passion.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships and a proactive clientele business.
- Skills in coaching, negotiation, teamwork and staff development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to uphold service excellence and training standards.
