Job Description

Summary

The Staffing Specialist develops and implements schedules for store Sales and Sales Support colleagues. The role optimizes staffing levels to meet customer service and workload demands while balancing scheduled hours and controlling expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Input schedule requests, make edits, and release weekly schedules in accordance with state and company requirements.
  • Balance scheduled hours across stores to reduce expense exposure.
  • Open and balance positions, run and analyze weekly reports, and recommend ways to better support stores and reduce expenses.
  • Communicate regularly with senior store leaders and business managers.
  • Facilitate scheduling-system training and address system concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Strong organization, analytical skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Clear communication, leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across functions and levels.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically, and to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
