Seasonal Beauty Sales associates provide personalized beauty experiences, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and drive sales for luxury and on trend beauty brands. The role focuses on in-store and digital selling, booking appointments, supporting events and maintaining a customer-ready department during a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Recommend and sell products from luxury beauty and fragrance brands
- Use text and social media to support digital selling and build customer relationships
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness and merchandising standards
- Keep up with product knowledge and beauty trends through trainings
- Open new rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application and skincare
- Strong customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
- Excellent multitasking, organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
