Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting overall store operations. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store events setup, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
- Perform other general store support duties as needed
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use various technologies and computer applications
- Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Ability to handle bulky items and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks as required
