Seasonal retail stock and fulfillment role responsible for receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure a high quality customer experience. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
- Deliver merchandise to selling departments and organize stockrooms
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist with setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and backroom areas
- Perform markdowns and general store support tasks
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use various technology and new computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
