Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and maintaining organized stockrooms and selling floors while supporting store operations and events.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events setup, markdowns, and fixture relocation
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technology and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to follow quality standards for order fulfillment and shipping
