Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and organized stock areas.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use a variety of technology and computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
