Seasonal Sales Support - Westport

Summary

The Operations Professional supports store back-of-house functions for a seasonal period, helping to drive sales and deliver exceptional client service. This role focuses on order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and handling jewelry care and repairs while partnering with sales staff and management. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment and merchandise transfers.
• Clean and handle jewelry, accept items for repair, and prepare items for shipment.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory using reports and systems; report discrepancies to management.
• Support sales professionals by responding to client requests via phone and email and capturing client data.
• Follow company operational policies and procedures to maximize productivity and service quality.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends and holidays; authorized to work in the United States.
• Organized, flexible and able to perform multiple tasks based on business needs.
• Preferred: college/university degree or GIA coursework/graduate gemologist credentials.
