Summary

The Tailor provides professional fitting and alteration services to deliver high quality garment repairs and adjustments. This seasonal role measures and fits customers, performs sewing and pressing operations, and helps maintain department productivity and organization. The Tailor works directly with customers and the store team to ensure proper fit, style, and timely completion of alterations.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit and mark garments for alterations
• Perform and complete fittings and sewing alterations according to guidelines and service standards
• Operate sewing, pressing, and standard alterations equipment safely
• Use store technology to manage and organize customer alteration requests
• Meet department and individual productivity goals and collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team

Requirements

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2 years
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize multiple tasks, and work in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Flexible availability to work a schedule based on business needs
