Selling And Service Assistant - Aventura

Summary

The Selling and Service Assistant provides clerical and point of sale support for front and back of house operations in a luxury boutique, ensuring transaction accuracy and contributing to the client experience. This role partners with management and the sales team to support inventory, after sales services, and daily store operations in a fast paced environment. The position reports to the Operations Manager and assists with opening and closing procedures and POS decisions.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately record point of sale transactions and cash handling at the register
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and POS related decisions with management
• Support sales team with merchandising, returning merchandise to floor, and retrieving stock
• Maintain selling floor standards including stocking bags boxes ribbon and POS station supplies
• Support stockroom operations including replenishment tagging and ticketing
• Assist with physical inventory preparation and merchandise flow
• Log repairs contact clients and support after sales administration
• Record detailed CRM files capturing purchase history and client interactions
• Answer phones and provide friendly customer service

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in a luxury environment
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling strongly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask be detail oriented and organized
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle difficult situations with composure and grace
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
• Willingness to perform clerical and administrative duties as assigned
