Summary
The Selling And Service Assistant supports front and back of house boutique operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, client service, and administrative support for after sales services in a fast paced luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Process point of sale transactions accurately at the register.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and POS decisions with management.
- Provide prompt friendly client service including greeting and packaging purchases.
- Support sales team with merchandising, returning merchandise to floor and retrieving stock.
- Maintain workstation and selling floor supplies and merchandising standards.
- Assist in stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging and ticketing.
- Support after sales by logging repairs and contacting clients.
- Record detailed CRM files of purchase history and sales notes.
- Answer phones and provide timely customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail preferred.
- Experience with POS and cash handling preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure.
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs without assistance.
