Summary

The Selling And Service Assistant supports front and back of house boutique operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, after sales administration, and maintaining high standards of client service in a luxury retail environment. This role partners with the sales and management teams to assist with POS tasks, merchandising support, and stockroom duties. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Process point of sale transactions and ensure accuracy of receipts and payments
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and POS decisions with management
• Provide prompt friendly client service including wrapping and packaging at point of sale
• Support sales team with merchandising, returning merchandise to floor, and retrieving stock
• Maintain selling floor standards and organize workstation supplies
• Support stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging, and ticketing
• Log repairs and maintain after sales service records
• Record detailed CRM files of client purchase history
• Answer phones and provide courteous customer service

Requirements

• 1 year retail experience; luxury environment preferred
• Experience with POS and cash handling strongly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and attend to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with composure
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
• Willingness to support varied duties as assigned
