Summary
The Selling and Service Assistant provides clerical and sales support for front and back of house boutique operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, client service, and administrative support for after sales services in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Process point of sale transactions and ensure accuracy of sales and payments
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Provide prompt and friendly client greeting and customer service
- Support sales team with merchandising, returning merchandise to floor, and retrieving stock
- Maintain selling floor presentation and stock of packaging and supplies
- Support stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging, and ticketing
- Assist with physical inventory preparation
- Log repairs, contact clients, and maintain after sales records
- Answer phones and record detailed CRM purchase history
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail preferred
- Experience with POS and cash handling preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented with computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
