The Selling Supervisor is a retail leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrating advanced product knowledge, building client relationships to drive sales and repeat business, and acting as a link between management and sales associates while supporting daily store operations.
Responsibilities
- Support store manager with management and coordination of daily store operations
- Perform opening and closing procedures including checking in merchandise and preparing deposits
- Supervise sales transactions ensuring quick accurate processing and cash protection
- Coach and motivate sales staff to achieve sales objectives
- Promote and sell products to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain and merchandise the sales floor
- Maintain a clientele book and build customer relationships
- Assist store manager with operational excellence and team performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years luxury retail experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and set high performance standards
- Ability to learn adapt and work independently under pressure
- Proficiency with personal computers POS systems and MS Office
- Demonstrated competencies relevant to the position and inspirational team attitude
- Ability to influence negotiate and provide excellent customer service
