Senior Allocation Planner

Summary

The Senior Allocation Planner is part of the Planning, Allocation, and Operations team at the New York headquarters. This role manages store replenishment and seasonal initial allocations, as well as inventory allocation and release for wholesale partners and the retail network.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store allocation and replenishment from the distribution center, determining quantities to maintain inventory and service levels.
• Evaluate sales trends and adjust inventory to maximize sales, service levels, and sell-through.
• Recommend inventory threshold changes and prepare regional inventory and sales reporting.
• Coordinate with Buying on priorities and market-specific needs, and report on product arrival dates and delays ahead of seasonal launches.
• Allocate and release wholesale and retail inventory, manage order entry and maintenance, and address order holds and release issues.
• Coordinate with sales operations on weekly shipping forecasts and optimize warehouse workflow.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in a planning role.
• Advanced Excel skills and a comprehensive understanding of retail math.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently, with at least half of working time dedicated to allocation.
