SummaryThe Sr. Financial Analyst, Technology will be responsible for supporting the financial processes and cross-functional partnership across the Technology and Finance organizations. This role combines P&L insights through the month-end close/forecast and annual budget processes; and strategic partnership within the Technology organization to influence and support executive business decisions.
Responsibilities- Analyze and present Technology investment performance through reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Drive and execute capitalization process for labor and non-labor including partnering with Technology organization on establishing capitalization rates and labor tracking.
- Manage key processes and provide business insights and storylines related to the monthly reporting of close results, forecast and the annual budget.
- Partner across Technology, Finance and other corporate functions to anticipate future business challenges and opportunities, and develop financial models for new strategies.
- Perform ad hoc analyses / special projects, synthesize, and clearly communicate findings to support executive-level decisions.
- Drive process optimization and efficiency initiatives to improve time to close and report.
Requirements- 3+ years of related experience.
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle-Essbase, Anaplan, Tableau and/or SQL a plus.
- Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction.
- Experienced and a passion for driving continuous improvement work within team and with business partnerships.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy.
- Experience presenting to and collaborating with senior level stakeholders across the business (e.g. technology, product).
