SummaryAs a Senior Human Resource Business Partner, you will report to the VP of HR and provide expertise and support for leadership coaching, performance management, and associate relations. You will be the primary contact for store teams, building strong partnerships with people managers and employees to develop high-performance teams and ensure company values are upheld. Your role will include resolving employee relations matters, addressing turnover trends, and recommending training and development opportunities, while ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws and equitable compensation practices.
Responsibilities- Diagnose organizational needs and implement action plans to drive business results and career growth.
- Collaborate with the HR team on key projects and company-wide implementations.
- Champion employee engagement and recognition programs across store locations.
- Guide all employee life-cycle HR processes from selection to exit.
- Assess training and development needs for succession planning.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure positive candidate experiences.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Conduct investigations and document recommendations.
- Lead employee relations processes with VP HR and legal counsel.
- Oversee coaching, counseling, and performance improvement plans.
- Manage exit processes and support people managers during exit conversations.
- Develop and analyze people metrics and KPI dashboards.
- Identify trends in hiring, turnover, and labor costs.
- Ensure accuracy of organization charts and headcount.
- Forecast open positions for recruitment efforts.
- Manage budget and purchase orders.
- Oversee performance review processes and conduct meetings to strengthen skillsets.
Requirements- Strong mediation and documentation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proven multi-state Employee Relations experience (NY & CA required).
- Understanding of a commission-driven sales environment.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback with empathy.
- Collaborative and effective business partnership skills.
- Change management and navigation through ambiguity.
- Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to travel as needed (10-20%).
- 6+ years of experience in HR generalist/business partner capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Canada and LATAM experience a plus.
