Summary
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic HR generalist for the Southern Region, supporting multiunit retail operations and working collaboratively with store leaders and HR colleagues. This role delivers HR solutions across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning while maintaining both physical and virtual presence in boutiques and corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- Act as strategic HR Business Partner for the Southern Region and contribute to departmental strategy.
- Provide hands-on HR support in boutiques and participate in regional and store meetings.
- Manage employee relations including investigations, discipline recommendations, and dispute resolution.
- Lead full cycle recruiting and maintain applicant tracking and job description accuracy.
- Manage HR headcount budget, new headcount requests, and organizational charts for the region.
- Conduct regular touch base meetings with store leaders for talent reviews and succession planning.
- Oversee annual performance review process and new hire review process design and administration.
- Support implementation of HR programs, initiatives, and special projects to enhance employee experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
- Proven HR leadership in multiunit, high volume retail or service environments; direct store experience preferred.
- Expertise in full recruitment lifecycle, talent development, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, compliance, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across levels.
- Proficiency in HR technology and tools such as HRIS, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel for boutique visits approximately two times per year.
