Summary
The Senior Manager, Insight & Foresight partners with leaders across CHANEL's divisions to translate consumer, client, market, cultural, and competitive intelligence into strategic decisions. This role leads research and high-visibility workstreams, supports brand equity and client experience initiatives, and helps shape forward-looking priorities for the business.
Responsibilities
- Advise division leaders and translate consumer, client, market, cultural, and external perspectives into business decisions.
- Track luxury, category, macroeconomic, competitive, and consumer trends to contextualize performance and anticipate marketplace changes.
- Lead strategic workstreams from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and executive-ready reporting.
- Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research, including survey development, vendor management, analysis, and storytelling.
- Support strategic visioning, roadmapping, brand equity research, and Voice of Client measurement, reporting, and action planning.
- Partner with Global Insights to incorporate the US market perspective into broader research.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in insights, strategy, consulting, investment banking, research, foresight, or a similar strategic role; luxury or global brand experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Experience designing quantitative and qualitative research and client or customer experience measurement tools preferred.
- Strong analytical, research synthesis, market analysis, storytelling, presentation, and workstream management skills.
- Ability to turn complex evidence into clear, persuasive recommendations for senior audiences and collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
- Curiosity about luxury, consumers, culture, markets, innovation, and external forces shaping business.
