Senior Manager Payroll

As a Senior Manager, Payroll at Chanel, you will lead the payroll function, ensuring excellence in payroll operations and compliance with relevant laws. You will collaborate with vendors, IT, and Total Rewards to enhance payroll processes and contribute positively to the brand and its employees.

• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems.
• Manage weekly payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local payroll wage and hour laws.
• Manage payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• Conduct weekly reviews, reconciliations, and recording of post-payroll transactions.
• Complete audits and provide necessary records and documentation to auditors.
• Act as the in-house expert on payroll processing, recommending updates as necessary.
• Manage payroll tax reconciliations and reporting.
• Oversee interfaces between various systems and process reviews with Total Rewards and IT.
• Lead continuous improvement in best practices and quality.
• Act as a liaison between various payroll vendors.

• Minimum 7 years of payroll experience.
• Expertise in UKG PRO and PROWFM.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with Workday.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and business intelligence reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities.
