SummaryAs a Senior Project Manager in Store Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of luxury stores, managing the entire project process from due diligence to final delivery. You will ensure that all projects reflect the brand's concept guidelines and meet local requirements, acting as the main point of contact for internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all architectural and construction activities for store renovations, minor works, or new store creations.
- Contract and manage external consultants such as architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Oversee project costs, timing, and quality throughout planning and construction phases.
- Communicate regularly with corporate and retail partners in North America and collaborate with the Central Store Planning team in Milan.
- Prepare feasibility studies to evaluate locations and estimate budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Legal Departments on budgets and contracts.
- Coordinate with corporate designers to prepare location layouts and organize internal reviews.
- Organize and coordinate RFPs, bidding, and award of consultants, and supervise all activities and outcomes.
- Manage all Direct Vendor orders, quotes, invoices, and logistics.
- Review consultants and contractors drawings for consistency with project and concept.
- Visit construction sites and prepare reports to ensure quality construction and millwork installation.
- Archive all project-related deliverables and collect as-built drawings.
- Oversee first-year warranty compliance for new or renovated stores.
Requirements- Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Photoshop, and all Office programs.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Design and detail-oriented with high standards of expectations.
- Analytical and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- 8+ years of applicable retail experience in a luxury company or similar architectural or construction management experience.
- Familiarity with SAP and Indirect Procurement process.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
