SummaryThe Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral part of the global Tax team, supporting US and international tax matters for compliance, reporting, budgeting, and transfer pricing. This role involves working closely with finance teams and Tax leadership to provide timely updates on ETR and balance sheets, including cash and deferred taxes. The position is based in Whippany, NJ, with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities- Prepare quarterly and annual global tax provisions and budgets, ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting of global income taxes.
- Collaborate with tax team, finance professionals, and third-party service providers.
- Work with auditors to support income tax accounting requirements.
- Research and document tax accounting consequences of new pronouncements, tax law changes, and business transactions.
- Prepare US international tax provision, budgeting, and compliance computations.
- Partner with third-party providers on US tax forms preparation and review.
- Prepare and review federal book-to-tax differences for reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance partners on consolidated tax compliance calculations.
- Assist with special projects related to business changes, tax incentives, and finance initiatives.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of tax experience at a large multinational company.
- Knowledge of corporate and international taxation, including U.S. tax reform.
- Ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- CPA preferred.
- Knowledge of IAS 12 and IFRIC 23 tax accounting principles preferred.
- Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Alteryx, and OneSource preferred.
- Understanding of state & local tax principles preferred.
