Summary

Provide high quality sewing and pressing services for customers in the alterations shop, completing alteration requests on time while meeting department productivity and service standards. Use store technology to manage customer alteration needs and collaborate with the store team to deliver expected results in a fast paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete sewing and pressing tasks according to company guidelines and service standards
• Execute workload and follow through on customer needs to complete items on time
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following proper processes
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration requests
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration within the Alterations and Store Team
• Safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast paced environment

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
• Meet productivity standards and follow established processes and procedures
