Summary
The Showroom Manager assists in managing general showroom functions with a focus on exceptional client service, cultivating a professional environment, setting standards for colleagues, and collaborating closely with the management team to drive business performance.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through strategies, clienteling, and sourcing new clients
- Evaluate team performance and provide coaching and action plans for development
- Monitor market competition, industry and watch trends and client shopping behaviors
- Forecast, plan and manage business needs including payroll and staffing
- Manage daily operational tasks according to showroom standards including selling and service
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Support the Showroom Director and serve as a leader within the building
- Train team on product knowledge and current collections
- Foster a luxury showroom environment that delivers authentic client experiences
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail service experience preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of watch trends and market competition
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems for labor, inventory and sales reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills with clients and team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
