Summary
The Showroom Manager assists in managing general showroom functions with a focus on delivering excellent client service, fostering a professional environment for staff, setting performance standards, and collaborating with the management team to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through strategies, clienteling, and sourcing new clients
- Evaluate team performance and provide coaching and action plans for development
- Monitor market competition, watch trends, and client shopping behaviors
- Forecast, plan and manage business needs including payroll and staffing
- Manage daily operational tasks according to showroom standards
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Support and lead the team in collaboration with the Showroom Director
- Develop and cascade product knowledge and training to the team
- Maintain a luxury client experience through renowned and authentic service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail service experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems such as labor management and sales reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills with clients and team
