Slotting Analyst

The Slotting Analyst is responsible for maximizing the efficient utilization of warehouse storage space by strategically moving and assigning SKUs based on value, size, or pick velocity. This role involves working with warehouse management and automation systems to develop new strategies and slotting methods, aiming to increase operational efficiency and improve service levels.

• Analyze velocity, volume, and value to strategically move and assign SKUs, enhancing picking labor efficiency and accuracy.
• Improve the speed and flow of goods through the Distribution Center while ensuring safety and ergonomics.
• Identify incorrect storage practices and coordinate corrective action plans with operations.
• Forecast and systematically assign SKUs to locations within the Distribution Center based on new PO's.
• Create reports and standard operating procedures to analyze SKU movements in collaboration with the Labor Management team.
• Support Distribution warehouse operations and identify workflow inefficiencies for improvement opportunities.
• Consistently follow safe work procedures and report safety issues promptly.

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-5 years of experience in an analytical position.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge in Distribution, Logistics, or Warehousing preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
