Summary
The Ecommerce Logistics Specialist supports corporate ecommerce operations by managing order escalations, returns, reshipments, and related logistics processes. This onsite role at the Dayton Distribution and Service Center uses tools such as SCALE WMS, Magento, JIRA and Microsoft Teams to communicate findings and resolve client inquiries. The specialist ensures accurate receiving, transfer, and processing of merchandise while following established protocols and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Investigate order discrepancies and client escalations and document findings in JIRA or designated applications
- Manage approved reshipments, cancellations, and transfer shipment requests using SCALE and carrier software
- Expedite processing of returns and create transfer documents for movement between warehouse locations
- Coordinate with IST, retail store operations, and Client Relations Center to locate return merchandise and resolve issues
- Enter shipment and address information into FedEx cloud software and other systems for label creation
- Assist with scanning and invoicing of outbound ecommerce orders as needed
- Participate in annual returns warehouse physical inventory under audit oversight
- Maintain accurate documentation and photographic evidence for escalations and resolutions
- Work flexible hours and overtime during peak and holiday periods as required
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience including internships or similar roles
- Minimum High School Diploma; BS or BA preferred but not required
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with SCALE WMS, Magento, JIRA, or similar logistics software preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize urgent client requests
