SummaryAs a Specialized Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the General Office and the Jewelry Department under the guidance of the Assistant General Manager, Operations. You will ensure smooth operational functions, maintain standards, and resolve customer issues while supporting the store's overall objectives.
Responsibilities- Open the store, manage the safe, controller, registers, and distribute reports.
- Maintain daily functions including cash entry, bank deposits, chargeback reconciliation, and cash counting.
- Resolve internal and external customer issues, including bill payments and package tracking.
- Follow Jewelry Standards and Shipping Guidelines, and process re-tickets, RTVs, transfers, and price changes.
- Receive, verify, and book jewelry, and manage merchandise returns and transfers.
- Complete case counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain repair logs.
- Assist in trunk show setups and takedowns, and prepare special order requests.
- Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, and vendors.
- Ensure Internal Audit readiness and assist on the selling floor as needed.
- Process Fulfillment orders and handle ad hoc responsibilities.
Requirements- Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts.
- Strong computer skills, including Google and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule availability and adherence to Dependability standards.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and apply store policies in decision-making.
