Summary
The Specialized Operations Associate supports daily general office operations and the operational functions of the Jewelry Department under the Assistant General Manager Operations. The role handles cash procedures, customer issue resolution, jewelry receiving and processing, and supports audit readiness while assisting on the selling floor as needed.
Responsibilities
- Open store procedures including safe controller and registers and distribute reports
- Perform morning cash entry, process bank deposits, reconcile chargebacks, and count register and petty cash
- Receive verify and book jewelry according to company standards and follow shipping guidelines
- Process re-tickets RTVs transfers ASN shipments and price changes
- Manage case counts enter merchandise into case count system and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain repair log track repairs and submit repair invoices
- Prepare and submit special order requests and Statements of Sale when requested
- Ensure internal audit readiness monitor vault and safe contents
- Assist managers and associates on the selling floor and process fulfillment orders
Requirements
- Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise
- Strong computer skills including Google and MS Office and adapt to changing technology
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability and adherence to dependability standards
- Attention to detail and organized personal workspace
- Ability to apply store policies and procedures to support decision-making
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for telephone and face to face interactions
- Maintain confidentiality when handling issues
