Wrap And Pack Associate

Summary

The Wrap and Pack Associate is responsible for preparing customer sends to company standards by wrapping, packing, gift wrapping and manifesting shipments including international sends. The role requires physical handling of merchandise, use of package carrier software and maintaining productivity and process standards while supporting supply movement and other ad hoc duties. Associates must be available to work evenings and weekends as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Wrap and pack customer sends to company standards
• Ensure SKUs and UPCs match packing slips or receipts
• Conduct final overview of merchandise and remove sensors prior to packing
• Fold, tissue and place items in appropriately sized boxes for shipment
• Assess shipping method for flat versus hanging items according to standards
• Over wrap and gift wrap product upon request
• Manifest all customer sends including international shipments and categorize invoicing accurately
• Use small package carrier software to pull reports and look up tracking numbers
• Ensure completed sends are on the loading dock before carrier arrival

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry boxes up to approximately 50 lbs and maneuver rolling equipment
• Ability to climb safety ladders of approximately 6 feet
• Computer proficiency and ability to use package manifest and tracking systems
• Attention to detail to ensure SKUs UPCs and packing accuracy
• Ability to meet productivity and process standards and complete same day packing
• Availability to work evenings weekends and assist with weekend courier dispatch
• Ability to pick up sends from the selling floor and handle fragile items
