Sr Financial Analyst - Merch

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Financial Analyst with financial planning and analysis experience to join our finance organization supporting the Nordstrom Merchandising Group. This hybrid position requires working in the downtown Seattle, WA office 4 days per week. The role involves developing monthly forecasts, annual budgets, conducting operational analysis, and supporting key initiatives and investments.

• Lead processes for monthly reporting of close results and monthly forecasts.
• Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand operational strategies.
• Create reporting tools and financial models for performance insights.
• Act as a key finance contact and communicate with non-financial leaders.
• Analyze data to drive action and improve outcomes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects.
• Drive process improvements and reporting simplification.

• 5+ years of related experience.
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Hyperion-Essbase, Oracle EBS, and Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to develop processes and deliverables independently.
