Summary
Senior technical leader responsible for defining enterprise inventory architecture and integration strategies to deliver near real-time operational visibility. Drives design decisions, oversees platform migrations and unifies disparate inventory systems across supply chain, merchandising, finance, and store operations. Collaborates with cross functional teams to establish common data models and enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead integration architecture between physical, financial, and operational inventory systems.
- Drive warehouse consolidation onto a single WMS platform and lead store inventory ownership migration.
- Establish common inventory language and standardized data models across business domains.
- Architect near real time operational views synthesizing data from multiple systems.
- Create bidirectional reconciliation patterns between inventory and financial systems.
- Lead technical reviews and mentor engineering teams on inventory standards.
- Conduct build versus buy evaluations and recommend vendor solutions.
- Manage complex platform migrations while minimizing business disruption.
- Influence cross organizational architectural decisions and drive enterprise strategy.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise scale inventory systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Deep expertise in event driven architectures and real time data integration patterns.
- Proven experience establishing common data models and terminology across domains.
- Demonstrated ability to design integrations across supply chain, merchandising, finance, and stores.
- Experience leading platform migrations and managing stakeholder consensus.
- Familiarity with enterprise WMS and inventory platforms and strong API integration expertise.
- Experience with multi owner inventory models including consignment and marketplace.
