Stock Associate

Summary

Stock Associate responsible for receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise to support store operations and presentation. Works closely with sales and management to maintain accurate inventory and timely stock movement. Supports loss prevention and follows store procedures for shipments and returns.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack incoming shipments and verify contents against invoices.
• Organize stockroom and maintain neat, accessible merchandise storage.
• Replenish sales floor merchandise promptly and ensure proper presentation.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
• Process returns and prepare items for restocking or markdown.
• Assist sales team with floor moves and visual merchandising tasks.
• Operate stockroom equipment safely and follow loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and report discrepancies.

Requirements

• Prior retail or stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory tasks.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
