Job Description

Summary

As a Store Facility Technician at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, you will provide technical expertise to support the store during operating hours. Your role involves maintaining and troubleshooting critical building equipment and conducting preventative maintenance work to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Perform weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and log safety inspections.
  • Complete and oversee inspections on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC.
  • Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expenses.
  • Support capital planning projects and coordinate building energy management systems.
  • Oversee store systems including Point of Sale and Telephone systems.
  • Respond to after-hours and emergency calls, with potential overtime required.
  • Support the store during its busiest season from Black Friday to mid-January.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience or equivalent in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and climbing ladders.
  • Effective communication skills with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information.
  • Highly self-motivated and customer-centric attitude.
