Job Description

Summary

As a Store Manager at Bloomingdales Concessions in New York, you will lead the store to achieve business objectives and grow sales through strategic planning and execution. You will deliver exceptional service to clients and manage store operations efficiently, while representing the brand and promoting its values and vision.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure sales and service standards are consistently met by the leadership team and all store employees.
  • Drive store sales and productivity through strategic sales planning and KPI management.
  • Conduct business analysis and collaborate with the Regional Director to grow the business.
  • Execute company and regional strategic initiatives and policies flawlessly in-store.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by engaging with top clients and ensuring high customer service levels.
  • Lead the team in establishing client relationships and proposing local events and consignment.
  • Coach and ensure all store staff comply with company initiatives and programs.
  • Manage employee performance and development through consistent communication and goal setting.
  • Recruit and hire high-caliber talent, building a talent pipeline through networking.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and protection of company assets.
  • Monitor store expenses and maintain the operating budget.
  • Oversee in-store after-sales operations and consignment programs.
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Analyze reporting and support stock levels through communication with key departments.
  • Train and communicate current product knowledge to all associates.
  • Respond to the competitive environment and identify future opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, luxury experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales generation and employee development.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Impeccable communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze business and take business-driving actions.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, CRM, and Inventory Management systems.
