Student Optician

As a Student Optician at Pearle Vision, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering customer retention. You will work under the guidance of an Optician to ensure that customers receive the best possible service and eyewear solutions.

• Greet customers promptly and provide excellent service to meet their needs.
• Explain the shopping process at Pearle Vision and educate customers on products and services.
• Assist in taking and recording measurements and adjusting eyewear under Optician supervision.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot vision issues and recommend solutions with Optician guidance.
• Operate the software system accurately to process customer and prescription information.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure displays and inventory are organized.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Registered in State licensure program or equivalent schooling.
• Previous optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of State/Prov Licensing and Guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and awareness of fashion trends.
• Familiarity with cash register and computer systems.
