Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving

Summary

Supervise Shipping and Receiving operations for the store, ensuring incoming and outgoing merchandise are processed accurately and timely. Maintain stockroom and prepare shipments to other stores and distribution centers while ensuring proper documentation. Support store operations including cash office, repairs, and administrative duties to deliver an elevated customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of incoming merchandise, verifying shipments for accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
• Manage outgoing merchandise preparation and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
• Prepare freight to stores or distribution centers with appropriate paperwork.
• Control and replenish supplies as requested by the General Manager and perform assigned maintenance duties.
• Read and execute transfer, shipping, alteration, inventory, UPS, and invoice documents.
• Monitor shrinkage control and follow company reporting procedures for violations.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment; detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to collaborate within a team and maintain an elevated store image.
• Relevant work experience preferred and strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Outlook) preferred.
• Physical ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stock areas, lift up to 30 lbs., and climb a ladder as trained under health and safety guidelines.
