Summary

Provide alteration and fitting services to meet customer expectations on-site at the store. Perform garment measurements, adjustments, and customizations using sewing machines and hand-sewing to ensure proper fit and finish. Report to the Alterations Manager and support store service standards during scheduled short hours.

Responsibilities

• Measure and fit garments to achieve customer expectations
• Perform alterations and customizations on a variety of merchandise
• Operate sewing machines and apply hand-sewing techniques
• Manage work flow to meet promised lead times
• Provide customers details on service fees and completion timelines
• Maintain attention to detail and quality control on all work
• Coordinate with Alterations Manager on orders and priorities

Requirements

• Prior functional and technical sewing skills
• Experience operating sewing machines
• Ability to measure and manage alteration work
• Strong attention to detail
• Process management skills to handle multiple requests
• Customer service orientation for in-store interactions
