Summary

Provide on-site alterations and fitting services to meet customer expectations for garment fit and finish. Perform machine and hand-sewing alterations, manage workflow, and communicate service fees and lead times while reporting to the Alterations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Measure and fit garments to achieve customer expectations
• Perform alterations and customizations using sewing machines
• Execute hand-sewing methods for detailed work
• Communicate service fees and expected completion timelines
• Manage and measure work to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain attention to detail on all alterations
• Support store merchandise resizing and restyling requests

Requirements

• Prior functional and technical sewing skills
• Experience operating sewing machines
• Ability to manage alteration processes
• Strong measurement and fitting skills
• High attention to detail
• Customer service orientation
