Summary

Provide expert alterations and high-level customer service to ensure garments fit customers perfectly. Work closely with store management and sales associates to deliver a seamless in-store tailoring experience while maintaining a well-organized tailor shop and high standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including hemming, tapering, waist and collar adjustments, and width modifications.
• Accurately mark and measure garments to meet company fit and finish standards.
• Collaborate with sales associates to confirm sizing and recommend appropriate garment adjustments for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized tailor shop and ensure tailoring equipment and machines are in good working order.
• Deliver timely, customer-facing alterations while managing multiple jobs and schedules.

Requirements

• Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficiency in sewing techniques and operation of basic tailoring machines and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fit.
• Excellent organization, planning, interpersonal skills, and professional appearance.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
