Summary
Lead the tailored clothing and made-to-measure department driving sales, coaching advisors, and ensuring exceptional client experience across fittings and alterations at the Pacific Centre or Oakridge location. Collaborate with vendors and central teams to execute events and MTM initiatives while maintaining operational and visual standards in a luxury menswear environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive tailored clothing and MTM sales performance through personal selling and team coaching
- Analyze sales trends and advisor skills to identify gaps and implement improvement plans
- Deliver structured training sessions and one-on-one coaching to build technical fitting and selling skills
- Develop learning paths and performance plans for underperformers and high performers
- Collaborate with Central Office and vendor partners to maximize trunk shows and seasonal MTM initiatives
- Monitor MTM order accuracy, refusals, and re-alterations and lead service recovery
- Maintain tailored department presentation, backstock organization, and visual standards
- Partner with tailor shop leadership to ensure fittings, alterations, and delivery timelines are met
- Serve as in-store subject matter expert and liaison for MTM updates and operational refinements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience with leadership capacity managing a store or department
- Experience in tailored clothing or made-to-measure preferred
- Proven track record of coaching, developing others, and driving performance improvement
- Strong business acumen in luxury retail and ability to execute business plans
- Demonstrated focus on client experience and driving customer loyalty and conversion
- Ability to collaborate with vendors, tailoring operations, and buying teams
