Responsibilities- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Report safety hazards and work-related injuries to supervision immediately.
- Perform process and product audits using established criteria.
- Organize work throughout the shift and assist employees as needed.
- Utilize basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation.
- Provide guidance to Quality Auditors on inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
- Minimize defects or errors encountered.
- Utilize SAP and other systems to report production and scrap.
- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials, and labor to Production and Quality Supervisors.
- Assist in training and clarification of criteria and standards for production.
- Ensure Quality Auditors are in conformance with Oakley’s quality standards.
- Audit line organization and inspection process per established audit checklist.
- Assist in training new Quality Auditors and provide random audits to audited product.
- Support on clarification of criteria and standards for production.
- Validate defects prior to scrapping.
- Print T2T templates and validate dimensions.
- Support Quality Assurance by issuing BOM, FAS, and T2T Template.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with quality systems and continual process improvement.
- Knowledge of Oakley processes and standards.
- Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions for special projects.
- Decision-making ability in high-stress or fast-paced environments.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is desired.
- ASQ certification or training: CQT, CMI, CQA is preferred.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Physical ability to occasionally bend, stoop, and reach at shoulder level for shift duration.
- Lift up to 25lbs occasionally throughout the shift.
- Stand continuously for 8-12 hours.
