Summary
Provide clerical and customer service support for front and back of house boutique operations, assisting the sales team with merchandising, client interactions, and after sales tasks during a temporary seasonal period. Maintain high standards of presentation and client service while performing organizing, stocking, and light lifting duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients promptly and provide friendly assistance at point of sale including wrapping and packaging.
- Support sales team with hanging merchandise, returning items to the floor, and retrieving stock.
- Organize and maintain workstation and selling floor supplies such as bags, boxes, ribbons, and stationery.
- Maintain selling floor merchandise standards by straightening and filling displays.
- Support client service, concierge, doorperson, and greeter activities as needed.
- Assist after sales areas by logging repairs, contacting clients, and maintaining records.
- Answer phones in a timely and customer focused manner.
- Perform clerical tasks for front and back of house operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure and compassion.
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs without assistance.
- Able to work in a boutique retail environment and support sales activities.
- Willingness to perform temporary seasonal duties and follow supervisor direction.
