Temporary Seasonal Sales Support Associate - Palm Beach

Summary

Temporary seasonal role providing clerical and sales support in the boutique including customer greeting, assisting at point of sale, packaging, stocking supplies, and supporting after sales and concierge activities. The position assists the sales team with merchandising tasks, maintains selling floor standards, answers phones, and performs general administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients promptly and provide friendly customer service
• Assist with wrapping and packaging at point of sale
• Support sales team by hanging and returning merchandise to the floor
• Retrieve stock and prepare items in the stock room
• Organize and maintain workstation and selling floor merchandise standards
• Stock items such as bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons and stationery
• Support concierge doorperson and greeter host activities
• Assist after sales functions including logging repairs and contacting clients
• Answer phones and provide timely, appropriate customer service

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Customer service oriented with composure in difficult situations
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform clerical tasks and follow supervisor direction
• Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in a boutique retail environment and support sales team
