Temporary Staff Accountant

Summary

The Temporary Staff Accountant is a six-month, full-time, onsite role supporting the Accounting team. The position supports retail accounting, banking activities, and fixed asset accounting while helping ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash accounts.
• Reconcile concession settlements, store credits, sales deposits, intercompany balances, and balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve chargebacks, payment disputes, and fraud issues.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, journal entries, sales tax filings, and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of corporate accounting experience and at least 1 year of SAP experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
