Summary
Temporary Stock Associate responsible for supporting stock operations and assisting sales and management on the sales floor. Works under the store manager and collaborates with internal operations partners to ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of shipments and transfers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and sales floor to company standards
- Manage weekly shipment receiving and shipping of product
- Report delivery discrepancies to store manager and operations partners promptly
- Process internal product transfers and customer orders within required timeframes
- Prepare and execute weekly product counts
- Prepare stockroom and sales floor for annual inventory
- Liaise with operations team to resolve discrepancies and inventory adjustments
- Support sales team on the sales floor as needed for coverage and assistance
- Manage store supply orders from internal and external vendors
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail experience preferably in luxury or contemporary decor
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Experience with shipping programs, inventory management and inventory audits
- Solid practical knowledge of Excel
- Proactive team oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 12 kilograms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 24 kilograms
