SummaryWe are seeking a bilingual, dynamic, and experienced Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of training programs across Retail, Franchise, and Wholesale teams in the North America region. Based in New York City, this role will focus on enhancing team knowledge and skills in sales, product expertise, and client experience. The Training Manager will play a critical role in supporting the onboarding of new hires, managing training tools and programs, and driving team performance through innovative and impactful training strategies.
Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and deliver the new joiner integration program, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for all new team members.
- Manage the Buddies Program, training and mentoring buddies to effectively support new hires during their onboarding journey.
- Deliver field training and on-the-job coaching focused on sales techniques, client experience, and Montblanc Retail Signature to improve sales performance and client engagement.
- Conduct tailored product and category training sessions across all categories, including Writing Instruments, Timepieces, Leather Goods, New Tech, Accessories, Fragrances, and Eyewear.
- Manage and optimize the use of the Montblanc digital training application, ensuring content is up-to-date, accessible, and effective.
- Design and develop customized training materials and tools based on identified needs.
- Monitor, track, and report on the effectiveness of training/coaching, team progression, and results, focusing on measurable ROI and impact on business growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with business goals.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in training, ideally within retail, luxury, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and digital training platforms.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills to track team performance and training ROI.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish required.
- Availability to travel extensively across the region, spending significant time on the field (up to 65%).
